The limited liability scheme which we were a participant in ended on 7 October 2017. This scheme is approved and monitored by the Professional Standards Council in consultation with CPA Australia and limits the civil liability that may be claimed in professional negligence for specific accounting services. CPA Australia are currently negotiating a new scheme on behalf of its members, which will commence in the near future. We have an obligation to notify our clients that the previous scheme is no longer in place.
Please rest assured that this does not impact our ability to continue to provide the highest level of care and services to our clients. Flor-Hanly will continue to be covered by appropriate levels of professional indemnity insurance.
